To those of you who know these 1st generations Insight- this car runs and drives good. The motor fires right up and it sounds healthy. The main batteries are charging up 100% as they should. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts perfectly smooth. There are no thro out bearing problems, no slippages no grinds and the clutch grabs strong. The aluminum body as you know will never rust, because it is so light it gets such good fuel mileage of up to 61-70 MPG. I personally put 50 miles on the car and I averaged 51+ MPG, not bad. The car has high miles and it is 13 years old so you will see that the body has nicks/marks/touch-ups here and. The interior shows wear as well and the car will need a good detail. The side mirror is broken, there is a compact CD player in the back. But despite the high mileage it runs really good and it gets very good fuel mileage.
