To the best of my knowledge this Shelby GT 500 has the correct high performance rebuilt Police Interceptor Cobra Jet engine #8J18EI. Mallory Billet distributor with electronic Ignition. 5 star Ford Mechanic completely rebuilt double Pumper Holley and then tuned the engine to perfection. Runs and sounds awesome Trans appears to have never been out and still has factory marks and tag#-RUG AJ. Along with the 3:50 posi-traction rear end with original tag#?8AD935. Believed to be correct numbers. The car has power brakes, power steering has been removed and converted to manual. Has the correct new shocks The Shelby is originally red color code, Now repainted in Race red with white stripes buried in 5 coats of clear Laser straight deep mirror finish The paint and body work is better than original and almost perfect. I would rate it a 9 out of 10 being a perfect trailer queen She is believed to be 99% rust free. She is 99% restored but still needs some tinkering. She still has most of the original undercoating Title is Free and clear in my name Has the original door tag Has the original buck tag Has the original dash tag Has fender apron tag Has correct #s under fender apron tag Most of the original interior is still in place and in good condition. Has new carpet. Has the original tilt-a-way steering. Front seats have been redone. New windshield, The rest of the glass is near perfect and trim shows well.
