Up for sale is my 1988 Suzuki Samurai . * 1.3L Inline 4 cyclinder motor with 153,000 miles. * 5 speed manual transmission with 4 wheel drive and a low range transfer case. * 4" Spring Perch over axle suspension lift with Rough Country shocks. * Greaseable shackles with new poly bushings. * 31.5" Super Swamper TSL Boggers mounted on Cragger Rock Crawler rims * Aftermarket Corbeau Off Roading seats * Fog/ Spot lights * Trailer hitch for towing. * Best Top Bikini Top * Soft Top * Aslin hubs/ steering damper / Z bar link This is a great off road truck...one of the lightest 4WD ever made. This little bogger gets plenty of attention where ever I bring it. Very capable off roader but still driveable on the street. Starts immediately every time, motor runs like a top. New clutch. Transmisson feels tight and shifts flawlessly - 4WD works as it should and has a low range transfer case for crawling over rocks, without burning up the clutch. No frills interior - passenger seat needs to be mounted and there's no back seat. Carpet has been removed and the interior floor has been covered with rubber bedliner. No radio. Speedometer and fuel gauge do not work. Turn signals need to be hooked up. It has an exhaust leak and small oil leak at the gasket where the distributor is mounted. Could use front brake pads. I may or may not address these issues as time allows - but for the sake of the auction description consider them not finished. Paint job is an amatuer flat black . Comes with a utility rack, bikini top and soft top. The frame on the vehicle is rock solid. Probably not a good car for your 16 year old kid or to use as a highway commuter. Great around the town beach buggy, mud bogger, winter storm transportation or summertime toy. Available for inspection in Waterford CT BEFORE bidding. I accept cash only in person.
