This “time warp” condition Mercedes classic is one of the last cars remaining from liquidating a major film rental company’s collection. It's in such nice condition, the owner hung on to it and a few others couple of years beyond the liquidation. A lack of space forces us to sell. As this rare, right-hand drive sedan has spent its early life in the desert and later, in our indoor warehouse in Los Angeles, rust is not an issue—please see photograph with floor mat removed. It’s a “no excuses” car with just 68,360 miles on it.Gorgeous metallic charcoal paint gives an elegant sheen to this classic sedan that’s been part of a movie car collection since 1992, but was never used as a stunt car. Original interior is clean and as close to mint as you’ll find.The paint is in good shape. There’s no dents or scrapes to worry over. It’s a time capsule that’s as dry as the day it left the factory.Equipped with power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, and upgraded sound system.Car has had recent routine servicing. It runs and drives very well. Everything works: horn, lights, wipers, etc. As it has averaged less than 100 miles per year for the last two decades, a thorough safety check is naturally in order before daily use.Please inspect the photos to see the great condition of this classic Mercedes.Note: the 280 logo seen on this car’s trunk is due to a commercial it appeared in that required such badging.This is a 240 with its original four-cylinder, 2.4 aspirated engine that virtually sips fuel.
