Vehicle Detail

This 2006 Chevy Malibu Maxx is on its second owner but in the same family. The father bought it new and gave it to his daughter last year. I acquired this car from the daughter (a customer of mine) that did not want it repaired. She cashed out on the claim and I paid her for the car. The title is clean and open. No salvage title. This car was not deemed a total loss. The car was in a minor front end accident but it hit directly on the tip of the left lower frame rail which caused the front air bags to deploy. I don't think there is any frame damage on the lower rail or inner structure. I will describe the damage to the best of my ability and you can contact me by phone with additional questions or for additional photos. I'm in the collision repair business and my facility is an ICAR gold shop. I am ICAR certified and ASE certified and can answer any questions you may have. This Malibu Maxx will need minor repairs to get it to pre-accident condition. It is the perfect car to flip for profit or fix and drive for free for a couple of years. The low miles and condition is the best part. It has defenitely been well cared for. The inside is clean, has not been detailed, and is almost spotless. The exterior except for the damage that I'm about to describe is in almost perfect condition. There is one door ding, very minor, just behind the fuel door and one ding just above the drivers door handle. Both of those can be fixed with paintless dent repair, no paint work would be necessary. The top of the rear bumper has about a 6" scratch throught the paint and would require painting to make it perfect. The rest of the exterior panels would buff out perfectly. The damage to the front end will require the following replacement parts: Front bumper assembly with grilles upper and lower, radiator, cooling fan shroud, left fender liner, 1 air deflector in front of the radiator, left fender liner, left fog light, drivers side air bag, passenger side air bag, dash board (damaged from right side air bag deployment), air bag sensors and clock spring in the steering column. The left fender and the hood could easily be repaired. All of the parts I mentioned are available used including the air bags and dash. I have never bought a clock spring or sensors used. This is probably the easiest rebuilder you will ever buy. The color and options are perfect for top dollar re-sale. The Malibu Maxx models always sell for much more than a plain Malibu. NADA (National Auto Dealers Association) official used car price guide has a suggested retail price of $11,350.00 on this car, same options with 46 thousand miles. The factory options include power windows, power locks, power drivers seat, power steering, 4 wheel ABS, Am-Fm-C/D radio, Auto matic Transmission, 3.5 litre V-6, floor shift, console, fog lights, cloth bucket seats fold down back seats, power sun roof, panoramic glass roof above rear seats, chrome wheels. The tire (P215 60R16) are about 50% worn. Wondering why I'm selling this car instead of repairing it myself? I will make profit on this deal without turning a wrench. Not as much as I could by repairing it but I will still make profit. My shop is always busy with collision repair. I don't have time for auctions and I don't make a living by selling used cars. I have sold a few of these rebuilders last year on EBAY. I will not reveal my reserve price but for the right price I will seel the car and stop the sale. I welcome any local buyers to come and inspect the vehicle before bidding. I can provide additional photos for the on-line bidders. I have never had a disappointed buyer on one of my cars. They are always priced right for the benefit of the buyer. I will accept calls with questions about the car at 219 218-4473 from 8AM to 8PM central time. Please don't text. I won't text back. Good luck bidding. John
