I bought this car 1 year ago. In the past 2000 miles I did all of the following: 4 new tires, 2 Snow tires, complete tune-up, (cap, rotor, wires), valve cover and Head gasket re-manufactured cylinder head, timing belt and tension-er. Oxygen sensor, front exhaust, starter, alternator. The body is good. There is some rot on the door sills and passengers floor pan, floor pan has been replaced. The key Geo Metro vulnerable points are good: the frame where the control arms attaches is solid and the cross member below the radiator is good. The engine makes noise and has poor compression. It will need a lower end or ¼ Block I have an in complete ¼ Block I will include in this sale. Swop out all the new parts on the existing engine to your ¼ Block and you may have a fun economical summer run about to drive. It starts easy though runs week may be driven home. It needs a new top, (about $200 on line). Present roof has a temp rear window working for now. Call for any further information James @ 845-778-3313
