1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible. This is a #3 driver, you can take it to shows and be proud to drive it but it is not a show car. Originally from Florida, then lake driven the last 6 years. It was painted sometime in the last 6 years and has normal scratches and a few nicks. Exterior is yellow and always has been. The interior is black. The seats are in good shape with no tears or rips. Has a 1600 motor with carb. and stick transmission and is rear wheel drive. Motor runs great and could be used as a daily driver. Doesnt appear to smoke, starts right up. SHifts good, Brakes good, Believed to be the original motor but dont know for sure. Always stored inside and in heated storage during the winter. Blows heat and the heater tubes are solid. Floors are all solid and have never been replaced. Wasnt used much in the last year. So tires need replaced, they have good tread but are starting to get dry. This car originally was AC but I do not have the AC pump for it. This is a good driver, and goes down the road straight and smooth highway for a 1972 Volkswagon. Has new: convertible top, head liner, & wood, rear window, brakes, new Carpet, weatherstrip, plugs, points and belts. I have the rear window weatherstripping but havent installed vin 1522012357 and mileage is 39,111 on the odometer I bought the car and I am being relocated. it is not a firesale!
