Here is great example of the increasingly desirable Mercedes-Benz 190SL. Benefiting from an older, but well-preserved restoration, this fit running and luxurious Roadster is ready to be enjoyed for many more years to come. This 190sl was recently pulled from long-term storage and received a full tune-up and service including a new battery, rebuilt wheel cylinders, rebuilt steering system, plugs, fluids, rear suspension bushing by our own service department as well as rebuilt master cylinder and booster by White Post Restorations. All lights, gauges, instruments and electronics are in working order. Mechanically solid and boasting classic SL styling, this Roadster makes a great find for enthusiasts and casual drivers alike. Paint & Body – A nice older re-paint with no visible dents or chips. The body number “487” is located on the top left corner of the hood. The body gaps are consistent all around and have an overall good fit in finish. Chrome – The chrome trim pieces are original and unrestored showing regular age and dulness. The bumpers and star have been re-done years ago. Interior – The interior shows like new with nice firm seats and good carpeting. The door panels, top, and dash leather look very good as well. A modern radio/CD player is discretely hidden in the glove box and custom MBQuart speakers are nicely fitted under the dash. Engine Compartment – Very nicely detailed and much visible work done on the carburetors and brake booster. The block looks restored and overall very clean. Trunk – It is very clean with new carpeting, and no signs of corrosion anywhere. Tires & Wheels – New white line tires all around, wheels are original date stamped 11/59 Spare assembly and original owner’s manual and recent service records accompany the sale.
