Sweet Custom 1964 Chevy C-10 Long Bed, Fleetside, Big Window. New paint, mechanically overhauled. This is a turn key, daily driver/weekend show truck, that was largely restored last summer and fall. Built 400 small block, automatic transmission, drum brakes, power steering, power brakes with stock rear end. Lots of new parts went into her, listed later. Runs strong, doesn’t burn oil, shifts smooth, brakes solid. Handles great in city or highway. This has been my daily driver for the past two years. No heavy miles, just local driving with some highway driving a couple times a month. Never had a mechanical issue. Great glass. Regular service and tune ups. Belly, floors and doors; usual trouble spots, are cancer free. She’s had a well cared for life; repainted in the 80s, restored in early 2000s and then her most recent overhaul last summer. Clear Title. Well loved and treated right through the years, not some cobbled together garbage for a quick buck..... She is CLEAN! What’s new in the past 2-18 months (Most done last Summer): Urethane + Clear paint (July 2012), wood bed and bed kit, some wiring harnesses, lenses, seals (cowl, doors, windows, felts, windshield), Rebuilt trans w/ shift kit, radiator, electric fan, horn, Edlebrock engine dress kit + Edlebrock intake and Edlebrock 4 barrel carb w/ electronic choke, Power steering (pump, ram, valve control and belts), brakes, shocks, 3-4” lowering springs, CD Player & Speakers, master cylinder, upholstery, carpet, spare tire holder, floor mats, sun visors, three seat belts, glove box, wipers & arms, arm rest, handles inside & out, manifold gaskets, custom bed tie downs, heater blower fan, relays, cancer cut out from floor and lower inner doors with new metal welded in, steering column bearing, keys, locks, ignition and much more! Lots of little stuff along the way that escapes my memory. Comes with a few new parts that I was planning on installing in my quest to make her completely cherry, like new ball joints and tie rod ends. What I have not gotten to: Tires are weather checked. They have plenty good tread and hold air. Speedometer doesn’t work. Could be cable or meter. E-Brake cable was disconnected before I bought it and I never got around to it. Everything is there. Doors could use more adjusting for lighter closing. I greased the window cranks, but the driver side window will now sometimes drop a inch when I shut the door. To some these are not worth mentioning, but I've been through her with a fine tooth comb, and I like things done right. And there is my full disclosure. Bid with confidence!
