This car retailed for $8700 in 1963 that’s about 100k today. 1963 Mercedes 220SE Very Nice , Spent a lot of money making this Original Cruiser Mechanically Perfect. Rides Fantastic One owner car. This was my Uncle’s car until a year ago when he gave it to me. I have copy of Original Title . My Uncle Bought this in Austria in 1963 and Brought it here in 1964 , that is when he put the Vinyl top on. The Vinyl Top was a Mercedes Dealer Option in the mid 60s 62000 Original Miles. Original Burled Walnut Wood in Excellent Original Condition Very Original car No Leaks, No Smoke Completely Rust Free Had one (average) paint job in the late 1980s My Uncle Bought this in Austria in 1962 and Brought it here in 1964 , that is when he put the Vinyl top on The roof is Gloss Black under the Vinyl and is original The car Runs Perfect Interior all original and Very nice shape The Tires and Battery are New New Wires, Bosch Plugs, Cap and Rotor All new Hoses and Belt Heater and Vent work perfect . All controls work and move free All lights work, Carpets are original and excellent Wood interior in Very good shape, Dash is perfect No Rust anywhere. Not in trunk, Not in wells, Not anywhere! Following were replaced a Three months ago: New Sub Frame Mounts (Mercedes brand) 4 New Shocks New tie rods and ball joints Full Brake Service (reservoir)(Rear Brake lines)(Rear Wheel cylinders)(Shoes) and (pads) All Fluids changed (Coolant, trans,differential,oil) Fuel Tank taken Down Boiled and Blasted and coated , new fuel lines, new fuel filter Original Fuel pump works great Fuel Injection system flushed New Water Pump Radiator Flush New Window rubber seals for Vertical trim between front and back windows All Glass and Lenses are Original I have receipts for all work Hub Caps were originally Black to match Roof but I took off the paint and thought they looked better chrome Front Seats Are Dry and Have Cracks and Driver Side has Tears at Seams. They are covered by REAL SHEEP HYDES that my Uncle Made, He was a Tailor and these have the Hyde on the backside, Not the cheap wool sewn to backing. These are the Real Deal and I just had them Professionally Cleaned. Back Seat is In good condition . NO TEARS . But on Vertical Seam Has come un-stiched . It can easily be sewn again.
