Vehicle Detail
Farm Fresh, Chevy 1/2 Ton longbed fleetside Pickup.I bought this truck about a year ago basically right outta the barn. First the good- I went through it and made several repairs in order to use it as my daily driver. New plugs and wire, new alternator and belts, I replaced the bias ply hot rod tires it had on it with a nice set of new all weather speed rated radials, new radiator and hoses (the heater hose is still some farmer's garden hose), and to top it all off I replaced the tempermental Quadrajet with a brand new Edelbrock Hi Perfomance double pumper carb that makes the whole rig run like a Nascar. When I purchased the truck, in the glovebox was a receipt from the late 90's from Roadrunner Engines for the rebuilt 350 and it is clear that at that time it had aftermarket mufflers put in for a nice, not loud, but throaty sound. I replaced the front seal and several gaskets to make it oil tight. The rear driver's side quarter panel has been completely redone by a professional body shop leaving only one small rust spot on the drivers door. Now the bad- the seat needs recovered, there is now carpet or floor matting, the bed is scratched up and dented from it's use with gooseneck trailer, the window and door seals are all old, cracked, noisy, etc. Interior lights don't work, Speedo doesn't work, Gas Gauge doesn't work. Basically it is a kick ass Farm Truck, ripe for your restoration job or ready to work as is. It runs straight, cool, and all day long. It is a classic 4 speed, meaning the first is granny low.. so you're really dealing with 3 speeds. Winning bidder must make $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction close, full payment within 7 days, and is responsible for any shipping, pick-up, transport costs etc.. It does drive and I would be willing to work with local buyers including northern Utah on getting it to you. A no reserve auction with a low start. Bid to win on this rare "Longhorn" long wheelbase extra long bed, classic truck. NADA prices go from low $4000 and up for these classic trucks, in this condition. eBay user kindly pointed out mistake in model ID, it is 1/2 ton C10 long bed fleet side, has small block 350.
