Vehicle Detail
1995 Defender 90 Station Wagon Listed for sale is my Defender 90 with a new 4.6L Bosch short block engine with all work done by The Rover Shoppe of Houston, TX. (see attached receipts) I now have less than 30,000 miles on the rebuild. In addition to the new engine the body was completely gone over and new paint applied in the factory Arles blue color by JJ Auto Body of Huston, TX. (see attached receipts). All buttons, lights, switches, gauges, and knobs are in proper working order, including the rare dealer installed Land Rover air conditioning. This Defender also has the popular inboard facing rear jump seats which accommodate four additional passengers. I have the factory console with a Clarion FZ501 Digital Media Receiver with Blue Tooth integration and USB/AUX inputs. The tires have plenty of tread life left and the truck also features 7.5" Hella off-road lights. More Photos are available send me a message for the link. Since I have owned the truck I have had the following work performed by professional mechanics: - A full tune up - New brake rotors, pads, and fluid - New fuel pump and fuel pump relays - All new bushings front to back - New rubber gaskets on rear door and front air vents The Defender starts, idles and runs well and can cruise at 80 mph with no issues. I am a USMC Harrier pilot and purchased this truck while I was in jet flight training in Mississippi. I was then stationed in Cherry Point, NC and I drove the truck cross country with no issues. I then got my Dad to drive the truck up to his home in Connecticut as I have been driving my M3 while in NC. The truck has been in my Dad's garage in CT since July. This is a well sorted Defender that needs nothing but an enthusiastic Land Rover aficionado who appreciates this iconic example of British Off-Road engineering. Full Disclosure Items - - One of the jump seats requires attention but still works fine; - The windshield has a chip in front of the passenger; - The door lock trim pieces require attention. That's really it. This is a very well sorted driver ready to be enjoyed. No Reserve auction, this truck is priced to sell. Bid with confidence knowing this is a solid truck sold by an honest Marine, and the truck will provide years of service. Third party mechanic inspections welcome. A non refundable $1,000 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction close. On Jan-08-13 at 10:28:42 PST, seller added the following information:We received the clear title this morning (1-8-13) from USAA so bid with confidence knowing clear title will pass to new owner upon completion of transaction.
