1982 Rabbit Diesel pickup truck/Caddy 1.6 TD with 5 speed transmission. 241,XXX on odometer. Runs and drives excellent, starts easy, stops well, rear slider window, my daily driver. Recently replaced timing belt, hoses and belts, rotors, calipers, A/C condenser, glow plugs w/ relay and thermostat. Engine runs great no issues. 55+ mpg depending on how fast I drive, 55+ mpg <64 mph and 50 mpg >65 decreases mpg significantly. Custom built aluminum 25 gallon tank) It's 1.6L TD out of a 83 Cabriolet (front clip, dash, seats etc) The Caddy is ready to drive and the AC blows cold.
