Vehicle Detail
For sale is a beautiful 1967 Chevy Nova SS with a 283 and powerglide transmission. This is a true SS car and a very nice driver that is unrestored but did have a repaint in 2006. I have owned this car for five years now and it has been a pleasure to own. I have been threatening to sell this car for a couple years because I really do not have the time to enjoy it as much as it should be enjoyed but when I drive it I change my mind but it is time to let it go. I will describe the car as well as I can and I will tell its story as it was told to me but feel free to ask questions. The car was purchased originally by a man in Hawaii for his daughter who drove the car for many years. The car has less than 66k miles on the odometer which is presumed correct but I do not have any documentation. The car was ordered from the factory heater & defroster delete and does not have air conditioning. This is the only car I have ever seen ordered without heat but I didn’t come up during this era. I think it is a pretty cool feature. The radio currently installed is an aftermarket and does not work. I’m not sure what the problem is, I have never cared for the radio while driving this car but I do have the original that goes along. The car was repainted in 2006 by the original owner to its current color. The paint job is not show quality because it has a few flaws but it shines and looks great going down the road. The drive train is original but the motor was rebuilt, I think the same time as the paint job, double hump heads, aluminum intake, Holley four barrel carb, headers and flowmaster mufflers were added. The glass and trim are in good condition, for its age, and shines nicely. The interior is all original and is in great shape with only a couple signs of wear, mainly on the driver’s seat as seen in the pictures After the car was painted, the owner shipped it to California where he entered a car show and ended up trading it for another classic. That man sold and shipped it to the man I bought it from in Alabama who had it in a garage with his collection of classic cars. I bought the car in August of 2007 and brought it to Rome, Ga. where it has been garaged ever since. It hasn’t seen a drop of rain since my purchase. This car runs, shifts, looks and sounds great driving down the road where it draws a lot of looks and thumbs up. It is a 45 year old, unrestored car, so it drives like a 60’s classic but it is very cool. You just don’t see many in this good of shape that has not been cut up and hot rodded. I personally believe someone could spend a little money on this babe and have a very valuable classic. That was my intentions when I bought the car but I have never gotten around to it. I am sure the next owner will not be disappointed. This car is being sold as is and the buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping. Good luck!
