This is a very nice condition 1983 Aurora Cobra. These were DOT approved EPA certified turn key cars built by Aurora cars of Ontario, Canada in the early eighties. The body molds were taken off of cobra slabside CSX2013.-the 14th cobra built The cars were sold in select Ford dealers when new. All Auroras were delivered street legal in all 50 states with a factory serial number plate affixed. The car is on a clear Pennsylvania title and is registered, licensed and insured as an antique vehicle. Finished in Ferrari red and with Kirkham leather Cobra seats. Both paint and interior are in excellent shape with very minor paint blemishes. It is powered by a Holman Moody of Charlotte, NC built high performance 302 small block mated to a T5 5 speed overdrive transmission. I has a Jaguar independent rear with inboard disc brakes and 3.08 ratio. Dayton authentic knock offs are fitted with Pirelli P5000 radials. Cobraizing additions include Kirkham seats, Cobra steering wheel, competition belts, cobra bumpers, side marker conversion, cobra emblems, cobra shift lever, handled hood latches, wind wings ans side mirrors. Car has its original folding top and frame and the original plexiglass side curtains. Includes factory owners and service manual with part numbers and wiring schematics and original brochure. Parts are easily attainable since Auroras sourced parts directly from Ford Motor Company at the time. This car is the 89th built of a total run of approximately 170 cars. Car is in excellent turn key condition and has been fanatically maintained and garage kept Keep in mind, this is NOT a kit car. It was factory hand built and met all federal and state requirements of the day.
