2006 Chevy Malibu, just under 77,000 miles. I purchased this used vehicle on 1/20/12 for $7,999 with 58,375 miles. It was used in an RV delivery business as a tow vehicle. It has a permanent tow bar structure on the front. The total miles towed are approximately 6,000 which do not show on the odometer. The vehicle is in good shape, with one known mechanical problem. This model has a common GM issue; the sensor that works the gas gauge does not work. It either shows empty or full. I keep track of the miles using the trip odometer and refill at 300 +/- miles. Other than that, there are no mechanical difficulties. There is one minor ding where the front end hit into the bumper of an RV. A picture of the damaged area is included. It doesn’t affect the operation of the vehicle. The real life MPG for me has been roughly 25 MPG local driving and 33 MPG highway. It rides very comfortably and still gets great gas mileage. A list of features is included, as is the original purchase agreement. NADA shows average trade in of $5,625. Kelley shows a private selling price between $6,026 (fair condition) and $6,901 (good condition). Based on the broken gas gauge and front fender ding I’m asking $5,000. The car has plenty of good miles left. I can provide addition information and/or pictures for you to see. I am motivated to sell this vehicle as I no longer deliver RVs, I have a total of 5 vehicles to use for my wife and myself and I simply have one too many. On Dec-18-12 at 14:38:42 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE ADDED 12/18. The car is going into the local dealer Monday for a minor repair. It will be returned to me either Thursday or Friday due to the holiday. NOTE ADDED 12/24/12. The car is at the dealership as of today. The dealer will repair the gas gauge issue. Several people looked at the car and the fact that the check engine light came on because of the gas gauge not working was a concern. THE CAR IS BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND ALL REPAIRS ARE MADE. Cars.com has several of these vehicles for sale and the prices are as much as double what I am asking. There is one car with 200k+ miles that the seller is asking more for.
