Here you go, The original Batmobile, you'll not find a another beauty like this lady anywhere. She's as original as they come original engine ( to my knowledge) orig power glide tranny standard steering and brakes but way too much bling bling. To start with she has the step bumbers, grill guard, passing eye mirror, twin rear Impala antennas, chromed guage pod. chromed rebuilt steering box On hump air conditioner So let's get down to her history, she was built in LA and has the California bumpers. She has never been north or east of Southern New Mexico until I purchased it 8 years ago. There has never been a bit of rust with the exception of the floor pans which like all 58 &59 chevys, due to their lip design rot though. These have been replaced and are solid. When I bought the truck, the old laquer paint was starting to checker or spider web. I had a great custom paint job put on her along with all of her stainlees trim removed straightend and polished, The interior and headliner were replaced again by a real professional. The bumpers, grill guard were also re-chromed at that time. The inside dash was painted to match the interior red. In addition she has the very rare top fender trim, the bed has been rhinoed and she has the Batman defender mirrors. All of these projects turned out as I knoew they would seeing the folks who did the different jobs I've known for their professionalism, for years. I'm not a wrench so I don't usually attempt any such projects. Please check out all the photo's and if you need more email or call me. The great thing about this black lady is she is ready for whatever you wish to do with her. She is as original as they come and runs strong and smooth. No smoke quiet and ready to go. After I test drove her in NM I was going to drive it the 650 miles to Denver but with her being in her 50's I decided to play it safe and trailer it back up here. Knowing it like I do now, I wouldn't hesitate to take her on that trip! My reserve is very a little over the mid 20's so I'm not looking to get a gazillion bucks for her.
