It is a California Black Plate car that has been there its whole life with only 50K original miles. It has a very straight body and loaded with almost every option available including air conditioning. This car was just purchased with a whole collection of classic cars. The gentleman has owned the car for over twenty years. It is a great running and driving car that could be used the way it sits or would make a great, light restoration project for someone. It has original paint and an excellent original leather interior in overall great condition. It is selling to the highest bidder at NO RESERVE!!!! This car has been in storage for the past twenty years and driven once in awhile to keep it up. The exterior of this car is in pretty good condition. It looks to have all original paint in the color of Light Green. The body is very straight but it does have a couple dents in the left and right front fenders. There is some paint chipping off the trunk lid and one pin hole in the hood. Someone at one time mounted a hood ornament on the car which is broken. The body is very solid. It has always been a California car and is rust free. All the chrome and the stainless on the car are in original condition and look pretty good for a driver but some could be redone. It is sitting on its original wheels and hubcaps with older white wall tires. It has its original tan leather interior in it that is still in excellent condition. The driver's side arm rest is broken. It has beautiful original chrome on the instrument panel and throughout the interior. Most things work on the car including the radio, wipers, headlight doors, power seat, all the gauges and lights. The two power windows, clock and a/c do not. Inside the trunk is all original with its original spare and jack. Mechanically, this little beauty runs and drives very nice. The engine compartment is all stock. It has the #'s matching 460ci engine that runs great and automatic transmission that shifts nicely. It only has 50K original miles and truly runs and drives the par. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. I would check all the hoses and belts before I do though. This is a rare classic car that is only going up in value as time goes. They only made a limited amount of Lincoln Mark III?s in 1969 and who knows how many are still left. All in all, this is a great car that could be driven the way it sits or make a great easy project.
