Here is a 1967 Lincoln Continental 4-door Convertible in good restorable condition. It is a California Black Plate car that has been there its whole life with only 80K original miles. It has a super straight body and loaded with almost every option available including air conditioning. This car was just purchased with a whole collection of classic cars. The gentleman has owned the car for over twenty years. It is a great running and driving car that could be used the way it sits or would make a great, light restoration project for someone. I believe this to be one of the most desirable Lincoln Convertibles to own as it is the last year for the suicide door Lincoln. It is selling to the highest bidder at NO RESERVE!!!! This is the car to have if you want to feel like an instant celebrity. It's the ultimate cruiser and it gets more attention and appreciation then any exotic or new luxury car could ever get. These Lincolns are featured in many movies, music videos and is very well know in the HBO show "Entourage". The 1967 Lincoln Continental became one of the most influential automobile designs of the 1960's! This car has been in storage for the past twenty years and driven once in awhile to keep it up. The exterior of this car is in pretty good condition. It looks to have only been painted once in its original color of Granada Yellow. It was painted several years ago but the paint still looks very good and wouldn't be bad to use the way it is. The body is very solid and is as straight as an arrow. It has always been a California car and is almost completely rust free. It has some bubbling on the bottom of rear quarters and a little on the bottom of the rear doors. The floors and everything else is rust free and solid. All the chrome and the stainless on the car are in original condition and look pretty good for a driver. Some of the trim has a few dings. The car does have a cracked windshield and is missing its wiper arms. It is sitting on its original wheels and hubcaps with older white wall tires. It has what looks to be its original tan leather interior in it that looks pretty good still. It has nice original chrome on the instrument panel and throughout the interior. Most things work on the car including the power top, power windows, power seat, all the gauges and lights. The radio, horn and a/c do not. The power top system works but is a touch slow. The convertible top really needs to be redone. Inside the trunk is all original and could really be redone. Mechanically, this little beauty runs and drives very well. The engine compartment is all stock. It has the #'s matching 462ci engine runs great and automatic transmission that shifts nicely. Before I would drive the car any distance I would good over everything like the belts and hoses. This is a rare classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on and is one of the best years for the Lincoln Continental convertibles. These 1966-67 Lincoln are much more refined then the 1961-65 and drive much better. They only made a limited amount of Lincoln Continentals in 1967 and who knows how many are still left.
