I'm letting my 1980 Corvette W/ T-tops go. I bought the car to restore but my wife says she wants something more modern. The car is in really good shape, physically. REALLY STRAIGHT! NOT A CRACK ON THE WHOLE EXTERIOR! In the last 3 months I've put a new differential,rear shocks, rear bushings, adjustable tire rods, front wheel berrings, exhaust, alternator/alt bracket, brakes, tires, battery, speedo cable, new tranny mounts and a few more little things. The car has a 5.7 liter 350 w/ an edelbrock intake and carb. The dash, doors and center consol are really nice condition! I've looked at all the other Corvettes from this year and this is a really nice car for the money. Now......the things that need to be addressed at this point are the heater. It was unhooked when i got it, not sure what's wrong with it? The tach doesn't work. The lights on the dash don't work. The carpet is in ok shape. It looks like it was spray dyed black. i would replace that. The seats are in really nice shape. They are white in color. The rubber moldings need to be replaced all the way around. The valve covers were replaced by the previous owner and not sealed correctly. They leak a little oil. No biggie. Easy fix. I just havn't gotten around to that yet. The stereo is not in the car right now. I just bought a new head unit that will come with the car. The motor is out of a 1972 Camaro. It runs and shifts good. The headlights work, they just have to be put up and down manually. I'm trying to disclose EVERYTHING i can about this car. To my knowledge, this is everything i know about the car.
