this is a 57 rgtop, it has been in a dry storage for some yrs, this car was my dream car , until a found a 57 2 Dr ht, so i put aside the 57 convertible, and yrs later i decide to bought a running 57 convertible, and now i have two convertibles,so now i decide to sell one of my comvertibles, am going to try to describe as much as i can, because what you see is what you get, and the pics speak for it self, OK so this is the deal, if you have the money and you have permission to buy your dream car, this is the project you have been waiting for, the car is very solid and very much complete, the floors are very solid ,the trunk floor is also very solid ,doors , hood ,fenders cowll are very solid also , winshield top frame is very solid,doors post are very solid,doors pillars are very solid and very much straight,dash board is nice shape with all gages,this is an automatic trans ,doors are with all mechanism ,all glass is complete and is not broken windshield need only new ruber gasket side glass is complete and is not broken , frames on glass has the usual pitting for the age,dash board inserts were removed but is there radio was working but i do not know what is the condition now,clock is there but i do not know if it is working , dash board electrical harness it is not installed because i removed it,but it is there,pinch well is missing one half , so is only the left side , windows regulators and door handles are in the car, most of the moldings on windshield are complete and in good shape, most of the trim moldings out side is complete,seats are in the car, but need upholstery , brakes cylinders are working , i just removed them from from my 57 chevy ht all wheel cylinders and master cylinders are working fine, any ways who ever want to restore this 57 has to put new brake lines , the frame chassis is nice and straight all four wheels move freely,the rockers are not so bad but they will need some atention or replace them ,lef and right rockers on the front are bad , if you see them from out side they look ok , but undreneath they are bad , also the floor brace on right rocket has some rust, doors underneath are very solid only typical rust, this is a California car i have seen worst with a lot of rust here , the front suspension was new when i bought it,so is very descent for its age, the car it is 55 yrs old and it is very solid with only surface rust for it age,the transmission is not in the car but is there,it is a power glide,,,well now i can tell you what is missing in the car , no engine,wiper motor is missing,top frame is missing one rear bracket ,the one that is atach to the tower, also are miising the top latches ,sun visers are missing,one moldings on windshield missing (the long molding acros the top frame) as you know you will need to put all new weather strip on top frame and seal gaskets, i put back most of the trim mouldings out side on the car so you can see wath is meesing, glass on vent windows are missing, front dash garnish are misssing , top moldings on quarters panels are missing , in side pillar garnish are missing ,left in side garnish moulding on top door is missing the vin tag is missing,i never register this car in my name, so this car car it has only a bill of sale, may be you guys know that you can buy the blank vin tag on eBay for $100.00 ,so if you want to build you 57 rag top , this body is very decent and very solid for it is age,the previos owner did some patches by front corner toe boards,a $1000 dollars deposit must be paid true pay pal and the rest in cash or cashier check,when pick up the car, the car leaves when the money it is cleared , there is no warranty and you are responsible for shipping charges, thanks for your interest and good luck any question fell free to call at (619)381-3210 , p.s look and read that there is no vin tag , i wrote a vin number just for ebay
