I bought this 1972 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton 3 door 2wd truck about 8 months ago. It has been sitting since. When I bought this truck I jumped it with a battery pack and drove it right on to the trailer. It has old gas that needs cleaned out, it needs a battery and a tune-up, and probably the brakes gone through in order to drive it. It will need trailered home. Before I purchased this truck it was a two owner vehicle. I have a clean title for it that was last issued in 1978. The same older couple owned this truck since then. I was told it has a 454 big block in it but that was not offered in 1972, only the 402 big block was. I am not sure what motor it is. Even though this is a GMC, it still has the coil spring suspension like the Chevrolet trucks. It has rust underneath in the floor pans and rockers that will need patched. Truck is for sale locally as well. This truck is definitely a project vehicle. I have added some photos to show the troubled rust areas that are going to need to be fixed as several people have been asking about it. I would only consider this for a complete restoration or as a parts vehicle. These are rare and cool trucks when they are re-done.
