Up for auction is this rare and cute little Mopar,a 1965 Plymouth Valiant convertible. It has the 225 6-cyliner automatic transmission. The rear end was updated to a 7 1/4, 904 gears, posse rear end. The car runs very smooth, very quiet. Has good tires and brakes. Can drive car anywhere. The heater works well. The convertible top motor goes up and down, almost like brand new. The convertible top is not perfect but will not leave you wet. And, for a daily driver, does not need to be replaced. As you can see, it will need minor body work and paint. All glass is clean, no cracks and works fine. The frame has been modified to fit a 8 3/4 rear end. Although the 7 1/4 is in it right now. The driver's inner wheel well was widened 2" to accomodate the bigger rear end and tire. The passenger side has yet to be widened. This does not affect the way the car drives, nor does it need to be changed. The car is driveable the way it is right now. Great winter project or drive as it is. Has that rat ride look.
