This is a very nice 2004 Volkswagen R32. It is equipped with the 3.2L 6 cylinder motor paired with a 6 speed manual transmission putting the power down to Volkswagen's all wheel drive drivetrain. It is Deep Blue Pearl with black leather interior and in great shape inside and out.
The Volkswagen R32 was a limited production vehicle with only 5000 units produced for the US. This was a top of the line Golf/GTI in 2004 with several upgrades including the 3.2L VR6 motor boasting 234HP, AWD drivetrain, 6 speed manual gear box, larger brakes, 18 alloy wheels, all black interior, Koenig sport racing seats, factory R32 body kit, upgraded suspension, and more. These cars are a blast to drive and still have many of the amenties such as power windows, power locks, keyless entry, moonroof, heated front seats, leather interior, aftermarket Eclipse AM/FM/CD double din touch screen radio, climatronic AC system, power mirrors, heated mirrors, all weather .:R floor mats, front driver and passenger airbags, side impact airbags, side curtain airbags, 3 point passive restraint seatbelts front and rear, 4 wheel disc brakes, and more.
This car is a very clean car overall with no real issues cosmetically. It is a 3 owner no accident vehicle, but appears the front and possibly the rear bumper have ben resprayed at some point in time. It was done very well, and is not noticable to an untrained eye. One of the sideskirts has a scrape on the underside of it which can be seen in the photos below. The interior is very clean. The radio is the only aftermarket accessory for the intrior. It is 100% Eclipse radio product. The double din Eclipse headunit, component sets front and rear running off of a Eclipse 4 channel amp. The radio needs to be looked at and possibly tuned. It works but has distortion.
Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. It does have aftermarket EIP exhaust and intake. Starts up, idles smooth, plenty of power, handles great, and sounds great. No surprises here.
