Rare 1992 Honda Civic VX hatchback. 50+ MPG every tank. I have another one of these as my daily driver. I average 54MPG, and I have gotten 61 MPG twice. This is a solid, well maintained car. Recently replaced the clutch, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor, timing belt and water pump, upper and lower control arms, cv axles, struts, and tie rod ends. Honda rust cured with new panels, not bondo. New paint, new carpet, and new synthetic leather seats. Tires are decent. Fresh oil change, new transmission fluid, and antifreeze. Motor runs great. Transmission shifts smooth with no noise or ginding. Under the valve cover the cylinder head looks like new. Absolutely zero sludge, and no discoloration from overheating. The car is equipped with factory air conditioning, which makes it even more rare. However, the belt was removed long ago to preserve the gas mileage, so the status of the a/c is unknown. The mileage sounds high, but this car has a lot of life left in it. There are lots of Honda's that have gone past a million miles. This one could get there.
