1993 Range Rover Classic LWB with 147,600 miles. The vehicle drives well, the engine and transmission are in good condition, with plenty of power and smooth shifts. The engine does not burn any oil or leak fluids. It has a new battery and starter motor. The AC works well. The body and chassis are rust free, there is a small amount of surface rust around the rear tail gate. The paint on the hood and roof is now matt black and will need repainting ( or leave it matt ) .There are a few small dings and scratches on the body, gives the car character !. The interior is in reasonable condition, the heated leather seats are good with no rips or tears. There is some work needed to put the Range Rover on the road, 1. Replace the TPS ( throttle position sensor ) . It gives an ECM code 17 when it is cold, it still works with no issues though. 2. Repair a couple of leaks in the exhaust system. Two new short sections were welded in but the welding was not brilliant and there is some blowing from the joint. Just needs welding properly. 3. New wiper blades. The Range Rover needs the following mechanical and cosmetic work, but is not needed to drive the Range Rover:- 1. The power drivers seat and external side view mirror controls are intermittent, it could be the switch or the memory seat ECU. 2. Replace the heater core, it has a very small leak. Currently bypassed. 3. Replace the roof liner ( unless you are partial to the "stapled " look ) 4. Replace the rear tailgate glass, the heated rear screen is not working. A replacement tailgate is included with the vehicle. This is a good solid vehicle that will give many more years of service with a small amount of work. The Range Rover is great off road and in the snow, it will take you anywhere safely. The air suspension has been replaced with a spring conversion kit.
