1981 VW truck runs great and gets awesome fuel mileage 40-50 mpg vehicle is silver and has just recently been repainted. This would be a great truck for a collector or for someone who wants a little truck to drive that is cheap to operate. The timing belt was just replaced, tire look good 75 percent or better, it does have a/c but it needs repaired I havent checked it out to find the problem, it is also missing the rear bumper if I locate one I will put it on also but if not it will be sold as is. I have let it sit outside and it has started fine on a 20 degree day and the glow plugs appear to be new. I have included a few pictures of what the truck looked like before we painted it so that you can see that it wasnt a rust bucket to start with. I still have the topper if whoever buys the truck wants it but I did remove it from the truck.
