This 2003 Nissan Altima has been in our family since it had about 20,000 miles on it. Now it has 243,700. It has always had synthetic oil changed every 5,000 miles. There have never been any major repairs on the car. Everything is original. The only reason we are selling it is that my son, who is in the USAF, was recently deployed overseas and we have no need for an additional vehicle. The car operates as it should. I will do my best to disclose defects but you are buying the car "as-is, where-is" with no guarantee expressed or implied. This is a super, sharp looking car in good condition with all the right options; Excellent fuel economy, spacious and comfortable ride. Interior is in excellent shape with the same 1 little hole I put in the driver's seat when it was nearly new (darn screwdriver in back pocket, see picture). The tires are only about a year old and it looks to me like they have at least 70% tread, probably more. My daughter-in-law tells me the ac still blows cold. I recently picked up and drove the car back home (about 150 miles) and was impressed how nice it still is. The car has a trailer hitch installed and I found the part that goes into the receiver with a 2" ball on it. There was some damage under the front license plate holder when my wife decided she didn't like the placement of a particular sign (lol). I just bolted the license plate holder in place over it. On the back rear the plastic bumper was torn a bit from I have no idea what. Both places are barely noticeable and the overall appearance of the car is great. The driver's door works fine but a new hinge would solve the problem that it is hanging a bit low (from hinge wear). If I were keeping the car and driving it, I would have the timing belt on the engine replaced as this has never been done and a friend of mine who knows these cars suggested it. There is also some bubbling (rust?) in two places on the rear passenger door as illustrated in the pictures. Well, there you have it. Your opportunity to own this beautiful car at a reasonable price. On Nov-29-12 at 17:10:04 PST, seller added the following information: My son reminded me that the service engine light is on so I drove the car down to AutoZone and they said the following codes came up: PO725 - Engine Speed Sensor - ($26.99 part cost) PO335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor (around $30)this was recently replaced so it is probably related to the first code.
