Vehicle Detail

Automatic 1988 Porsche 928 S4. The opportunity you have been looking for has just arrived. A well kept Black S4 Automatic from a 928 enthusiast with key features such as XM radio premium sound system/w/bass tube, custom rims, Momo steering wheel and red LED lite instrument cluster to name a few. AC blows cold, brand new Continental tires on front. Exhuast growles like a shark should and is in good shape. I am a professional enthusiast of the car and have owned it for over a year. It is my second 928 and must say it is my favorite. My situtation dictates that I part with the car for more of a "family" appeal, read child on the way. The car recently had new motor mounts installed and a steering rack with bushings and tie rods. If you know anything about these cars, a set of rods and rack will cost you 2k and most used Sharks you buy will need the work shortly. Also, the complete top end vacuum hoses were replaced by Intersport Motors a year ago. The mass air flow meter was also reconditoned by 928 Intl in Aug. If you buy one of these cars, you should try and get a spare from a junk yard. Speaking of spares, I have a set of 4 original slotted wheels that will come with the car additionally (read you can have winter tires), a spare front bumper cover, with lower spoiler (was gonna put on my 1st car, never got around to it), a set of original factory manuals (rare to find in this condition), and two porsche 928 car covers, one for the garage and one for outdoors, full set of rear plate tools and jack with spare, tire cover, and 12V original pump. 2 original keys. All lights function including the hard to get working interior door jam lights. I have several spare parts to go with the car such as window regulator and other nick nacks that you may find yourself needing. No doubt about 928s they need TLC every once in a while. Open and honest issues, as I am a serious owner of the 928: Paint is good shape, the hood was re-done to remove normal road marks before I bought it and looks good plus matches perfectly, the rear spoiler was painted and has since begun to get surface cracks (needs re-paint with proper amount of rubberize agent to flex), the driver seat has a tear in the left side cushion (repairable) area and the driver seat has a difficult motion to move the seat back forward as well (repairable). The odometer quit working at 128000, and I have put 7k on the car in the last year, hense 135k miles. The VDO will need to be taken out to repair the odometer (common). The car was scratched lightly by a teenage driver in a parking lot on the front left fender (hardly noticable). I have only run 93 octane in the car. I have never had a problem with the car starting ,runs strong and all cylindars passed compression checks when I bought it. I hope that if you are seriously looking for a 928S4 to own and even as a daily driver, you will consider this Shark. I have been happy to own it and would also be willing to share the many tips and tricks of ownership to the purchaser as I have owned a 928 for 12 years. On Nov-25-12 at 07:16:01 PST, seller added the following information: Additionally, I have $30,000 worth of maintenance history on the car. Also, the original window sticker is included.
