Vehicle Detail

Just finished building this 1930 Ford 5 window coupe with all steel body and steel fenders and splash aprons with a steel roof. The chassis is a boxed frame built by Brookville Roadster. It has pan arm stability. The entire chassis is painted with rust encapsulator from Eastwood. Rear suspension is coil overs. Front suspension is one leaf spring and tube shock absorbers. It has a Ford 9" rear end with 370 gears. Steering is a Ford column to a Vega Steering Box. Power Brakes are disc fronts and drum rears. Stainless steel brake lines, and third brake light in rear window. All glass is smoke except windshield. Windshield wiper is manual (a wire behind header panel is to convert to electric wipers). The engine is a rebuilt 241 cu.in. Hemi from a 1954 Dodge (also known as a Baby Hemi). It has powder coated simulated chrome valve covers and 4 Barrel Carburator and electronic distributor. Also, added remote oil filter. The transmission is a rebuilt 700 r 4 with a shift kit and a dash mounted switch to turn the converter off. Has a 25" Lokar Shifter. The tires are 195-65R x 15" fronts and 235-75R x 15" rears. The interior is red and white naugahyde stitched with a pleated appearance. Door handles are shaved and electric openers with poppers have been installed. Dash is 1932 style with oil, amp, fuel, temp and electric speedometer mounted on dash board which is made of Black Walnut. The Speedometer has to be calibrated (I will include the instructions). Electric fuel pump has a hidden on/off switch. Bumpers and wheels are red power coated and the wheels are spoke baskets. The exterior paint is a white base coat with a red pearl dust mid-coat topped with a clear coat. In the sun, the pearl has a beautiful hue. It took me three years to build this Rod in my spare time at a cost of over $26,000. However, I'm running out of winter storage and want to make room to start a new project. This rod was taken to a local car show and took 1st Place in my class (1930 - 1931) Street Rods. Very nice looking Street Rod,Fun Ride! Please only serious bidders, and will not sell internationally.
