Ok here is the details of the car: car is a 1970 Barracuda grand sport coupe. It was made into a 340 cuda clone. The car was an air conditioned car at birth with rare limelight green color and power stearing and brakes The car has 92,000 miles on odom. which is true miles on the car itself. The car was repainted only 1 time ever and was painted in it's original color in 1981. Photo's posted are recent all within the last month the car is all original body pannels except for 1 floor pan which was replaced in 1981 with a mopar original replacement pan which was still avail at the time for a car that was painted in 1981 as you can see in all photos the paint still shines awsume and shows really well. whomever did the paint work really did a nice job. Car is super straight and body pannels all line up really well. car has never been in any accident to my knowledge and i am only the 4th owner ever to my knowledge. From what i understand the car was built in canada originaly when built. There are a few chips on the paint and some surface scratches in the trunk area but car looks awsume and paint again looks great. I can see no bondo on the car anywhere and have had body guys look as well as friends and everyone is amazed how rust free the car is. the frame nor trunk has no rust at all other than surface rust in trunk and surface rust under inside hoodlip where the wiper arms where rubbing underneath. In 1981 whole drive train was redone as well as paint by 2nd owner at 70,000 miles car has since been kept inside by that owner as well as the 3rd owner and myself. What was done at the time: Engine the 318 was replaced with a period correct 340 cubic inch engine with a nice mild cam bored 30 over with 4 barrel intake and carb. Car is around 375 horse power from what im told when last owner dynoed. he was a mechanic. The trans was rebuilt and replaced with a 727 trans with a shift kit and 2400 stahl speed converter. The rear was replaced with a 8 3/4 rear with 411 gears installed. Nothing was done to interior. the floor pan on drivers side was cut out and replaced. The car had no rust on body in 1981 so no bondo was needed and its been inside since so thats why so straight and rust free. Also the 340 stripe kit was added at the time.As well as headers.The air conditioner was removed under the hood but blower motor cover retained and firewall left intact as well as all dash controlls and vents. Since that time the vinyl roof was replaced,the rear speaker package tray recovered the headliner redone around 3 years ago. Over the last year new dual exhaust was installed as well as flowmaster type mufflers installed with chrome tips under the rear valance. I just installed a new battery as well as new plug wires and plugs and a new holly 750 carb nickel plated. Engine is basicly stock looking in appearence with exception of headers and intake and valve covers. has crome mopar air cleaner. tires are new around a year ago and have less than 1,000 miles since. the rims where bought and installed around 3 years ago and have no rust or road rash. Chrome all looks great as far as bumpers and trim. there is a crack in the grill which is small and easily repairable. tHERE IS A VALANCE PIECE THAT GOES UNDER THE FRONT THAT IS MISSING THAT I HAVE THAT NEEDS PAINTED AND INSTALLED.. tHE ENGINE RUNS STRONG AS HELL NO NOISES PROBLEMS OR SMOKE AND SHE RUNS LIKE A BAT OUTTA HELL AND SOUNDS AWSUME WITH THE CAM AND MUFFLERS AND HEADERS A REAL NICE LOB SOUNDING CAM AND RUMBLE AT IDEL. THE TRANS SHIFT PERFECT AND CHIRPS EVERY GEAR EVEN WHEN ALLOWING THE CAR TO SHIFT ITSELF IN DRIVE. THE REAR IS A LITTLE HIGH GEARED IF DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY NOT REAL CONVIENANT FOR HIGHWAY TRAVELS WITH 411 GEARS BUT REAR IS IN PERECT WORKING CONDITION. INTERIOR: SHOWS WELL DASH LOOKS GOOD AS DOES CONSOLE FOR ORIGINAL DASH PAD DOES HAVE A CRACK IN CENTER BUT VERY PRESENTABLE. WOODGRAIN LOOKS GOOD FOR AGE AS DOES SHIFTER AND CONSOLE. RUG LOOKS PRETTY GOOD AND HEADLINER IS NEW AND DOOR PANNELS LOOK GREAT. AGAIN HAS RARE BLACK INTERIOR WITH HOUNDSTOOTH INSERTS AND RED PIPING ON SEATS AND DOOR PANNELS. REAR SEaTS ARE ORIGINAL AND LOOK GREAT FRONT SEATS THE INSERTS ARE WORN BUT I HAVE BRAND NEW FRONT SEAT COVERS AND CORRECT DENSITY FOAM THAT ARE INCLUDED WITH CAR FROM LEGENDARY INTERIORS THE BEST INTERIORS SOLD ON MARKET TODAY THE EXACT REMAKE OF ORIGINALS I PAID 800.00 FOR JUST THE SEAT COVERS AND FOAM. . I ALSO JUST INSTALLED A BRAND NEW STEERING BOX NOS NOT A REPOP. AND NEW LOWER POWER STEERING HOSE. CAR RUNS COOL EVEN AT IDEL AND OIL PRESSURE AND TEMP RUNS EXACTLY WHERE THEY SHOULD LIKE WHEN BOUGHT BRAND NEW. 180% AT IDEL MAYBE 190 TO 200 AT HIGHEST POINTS ON TEMP GAUGE AND 60 LBS OF OIL PRESSURE WHILE DRIVING AND 40 AT IDEL. eNGINE WAS PAINTED IN 1981 WHEN REBUILT SO SHE COULD USE A GOOD REPAINT OF ENGINE TO MAKE UNDER THE HOOD LOOK BETTER BUT STILL SHOWS WELL. tHE ONLY BODY REPAIR I NOTE IS BY THE HOOD SPRINGS IT LOOKS AS IF THERE WAS WELDING DONE WHERE SPRINGS MOUNT TO INNER FENDERS WHICH IF I WAS TRYING TO MAKE A SHOW WINNER IF I WAS TRYING TO MAKE UNDER THE HOOD SHOW WINNER WORTHY I'D HAVE THE WELD GRINDED AND SMOOTHED AND THAT AREA ON INNER FENDER REPAINTED.NOT RUSTY OR DAMAGED JUSY NOT REAL QUALITY WELD FINSH PRIOR TO REPAINT. NO FRAMKE DAMGE K MEMBERS ARE ALL GOOD AS IS FRAME. GAS TANK WAS REPLACED A YEAR AGO BECAUSE CAR SAT SO MUCH RUST HAD BUILT UP IN GAS TANK. VINLYL TOP WAS DONE IN CORRECT GrAIN AND LOOKS GRAET AND REAR WINDOW TRIM IS CORRECT GRAN COUPE WRINKEL FINISH TRIM ON REAR WINDOW, THE ONE AREA ON BODY THAT DOES NEED ADRESSED IS THER IS A FEW CRACKS IN THE PAINT ON VALANCE BEHIND REAR WINDOW BETWEEN THE WINDOW AND TRUNK LID NOT RUST NO HOLES JUST 2 STRESS CRACKS IN THE PAINT. THIS CAR LOOKS EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS SHE DOES IN THE PHOTOS. gOOD NEWS: I HAVE FOUND ALL THE ORIGINAL MOPAR AIR CONDIOTIONING PARTS TO REINSTALL THE AIR TO FACTORY AND PARTS COME WITH THE CAR YOU REINSTALL.ALSO I HAVE EVERYTHING MADE BY MOPAR TO CONVERT THIS CAR TO FRONT DIC BRAKES WHICH I WILL INCLUDE WITH THE CAR. aNYONE WHO IS A MOPAR FAN WILL REALLY ENJOY THIS AWSUME RARE FIND.
