Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS (cloned to look like an SS) 2 door Hardtop 355 small block Chevy motor – rebuilt with 1000 miles on it 350 turbo transmission with shift kit – rebuilt with 1000 miles on it Restored in 2009 - started with a VERY solid car - only one small area of metal around the rear fender well that needed removed and replaced. New radiator, new gas tank - if it needed it, I replaced it - has nice polished aluminum rims and tires with a lot of tread left on them - I wouldn't be afraid to hop in this car and drive it anywhere! This is a very nice, solid and straight 71 Chevelle. Clear coated with pearl base coat - blue with white SS Stripes and it is trimmed as an SS. This is one nice Chevy. Almost every exterior trim piece was replaced with new. Was a factory air car, but air is not installed - I have most parts except the compressor to install it, which will be included. Interior is AWESOME - New Carpet - New door panels - new felts & rubber seals - new mirrors - new handles - new cranks - Dash doesn't have any cracks that I know about - bucket seats should be touched up a bit (one headrest has a small split in the vinyl) - but otherwise it's an awesome ride. I still need to install the wiper motor and wipers but that will go quick. I have a shaft-style radio that is included so the dash can remain uncut - I also have several spare parts and pieces that will be included with the sale. 355 Bored with Camel Hump heads - has a big cam - this car sounds awesome and runs great - has a Holley 750 four barrel with a 350 turbo transmission with a shift kit. New plugs & wires & fresh oil change - all other fluids 2 years ago and less than 300 miles on them - Has a 10 bolt rear end. Still has non-power brakes - I wanted to add front disc brakes but haven't gotten around to it yet - Kit is about $800 thru East Coast Chevelle and is an easy install for even the non-mechanical type. Was built in 2006 in Arizona - I bet there is less than 1000 miles on it Car was painted in June of 2009 – I have pics of the car before the restoration. Stripped the fenders/hood/doors off and painted EVERYTHING - even the cowl got blue shot on it...the body was good - there was only one spot of metal above the rear wheel that we needed to remove and replace - it originally came from Arizona so it is a solid car. I replaced all trim pieces exterior and interior on it - the seats could use new foam as they sag a bit and one headrest has stitching coming undone - but hey - the car is 41 years old! I still need to put the wiper motor back in it - I have it, just haven’t done it – it’s never driven in the rain so not a priorityIt has a tach, oil and temperature gauges that are hooked up but stuck under the dash. You can mount them in your favorite location. The paint is awesome - it could be due for a wax - all I’ve done is wash it since it was painted - it never sets outside overnight and it is in a heated shop all winter. It was a factory air car, but it is not installed - I have everything but the compressor...the heater core is not hooked up since I never drive it when it is cold - as far as I know it is still good and doesn’t leak - I have a spare one from another dash that I have that I will throw in with the deal... If you look at all the pictures, you will clearly see that this car is well worth the asking price. I need the money before winter to purchase some land.
