This bike was purchased at VMD Ohio a few years back as a basketcase. Since then, it was completely torn down and rebuilt from the bottom up. The idea was to build a fun quick reliable old Triumph. The rear tail section was replaced with a 4" stretch hardtail section. The lowere end was cleaned out and freshened up. Pistons were left intact as they had great compression. The cases were not spit. The Head was rebuilt by a local Austin Triumph repair shop. New Primary chain was installed, along with Barnett clutch plates. New Boyer ignition was installed as well as new battery. New dual coil sends the spark via custom Rajo end spark plugs. Rebuilt Amal 930 carburetor with a short velocity stack. Stewart Warner side mounted oil gauge. Hexagon oil tank. Exhaust pipes are Drag pipes. New shift pedal and peg rubbers. The tank is an old Wassel Peanut tank, that was cleaned , primered, and painted. The color is a Metalic Green base, with a Gold Fade top. All was clearcoated with about 7 layers of Gloss clear. Very cool etched gas cap, with new cap rubber. Rear fender is an old Wassel single rib, that was treated to the same paint treatment. Rear stoplight is an original Sparto, that came with the rear fender off a 60s chop.Vintageold chrome sissy bar. Back tire is a new Firestone 4.50 x 18 Gum Dipped, mounted on an original Triumph Dunlop WM3-18 rim. New tube. New drive chain. Front end is a mid 70s Husqvarna . Seals were replaced, and fluid changed. Machined clip ons with NOS Grand Turismo grips Front wheel is a 2.25 x 21 shouldered Akront. Front tire is a new 3.00 x 21 Yokohama. New tube. Custom headlight mounts an old Brass colored headlight rimmed sealbeam. Seat has 2" springs and is a very cool leather seat. The 1963 California plate is included with purchase for badassness. However the Texas antique plate is the registred plate. This is a fresh 1 kick start bike. Clear Texas title in hand. It is regitered as an antique motorcycle till 2013.
