UPDATES 11/11/12: -Probably better to purchase for parts, unless you're an expert mechanic. My mechanic couldn't find the problem and thinks it might be electrical. It wasn't the fuel pump. This is my mom's 1973 Mercedes-Benz 280SE sedan. It has a 4.5 V8 engine. I believe (but cannot confirm) that it has most - if not all - of its original parts. Please read the following before bidding: -The car is being sold "as is." I make no guarantees about the condition of the vehicle. -The car has not been driven in a few years. I cannot give any knowledgeable assessment of its condition. -The DMV registration is currently expired. I will pay the past due registration as part of the transfer. -Buyer will be responsible for driving/towing the vehicle. The Mercedes-Benz is being kept at a towing facility, which you can contact if you'd like to hire one of their trucks. -Buyer understands that I live out-of-state, and will either need up to 30 days after winning bid to transfer car (either I will meet you in-person or have a representative do so).
