We have a lot of time, effort and money into listing this motorcycle on ebay. Please be respectful of that and be certain that you intend to follow through with the sale. Your bid is a contract to buy. We have the listing set up to accept bids only from US bidders in an effort to prevent scammers from ruining the auction. If you are a legitimate bidder outside of the US and you have a way to have the bike picked up at our location without it being crated, please e-mail Chris at chris@motoworkschicago.com. Provide him with your ebay ID and confirm that you can arrange international shipping and have the bike picked up uncrated at our location in Chicago, and he will gladly add you to the list that allows you to bid. This LT is in good physical shape with 75,118 miles but the wiring harness needs to be replaced. It looks like there was a short in the accessory lights around the license plate that traveled up the wiring harness and cooked a lot of it. The bike still runs but most of the electrical system is not working. We have a used replacement wiring harness for it that is in great shape (both the main harness and the tail light harness). We got the bike in this condition and when we took it in, it was still in riding condition. I rode it myself and it ran great. It has been sitting for a while and in that time the battery has gone bad, the front brake has lost all its pressure, and it has developed a fuel leak. It only leaks when it is running. It won't rev past about 3,000 rpm, which seems to be a result of the fuel leak. With a little bit of love, this baby will be cruising in luxury and style once again! Fix her up, aim for the other side of the country and hit "go!"There are 70 pictures below detailing the condition of the bike. Please look at all of them carefully and ask any questions you have before bidding. You can call Chris at 312-878-8711, e-mail him at chris@motoworkschicago.com, or contact us through ebay. The bike is located at Motoworks in the city of Chicago. If you are local and would like to see it in person, please call 312-878-8711 to set up an appointment. Shipping a motorcycle can be expensive, so be sure to look into it before bidding. The zip code is 60608 to help in figuring shipping. Our recommendation for a great shipper is Danny at D&K Services. He can be reached at 973-534-7823.Winning bidder picks up in Chicago or arranges for/pays for all shipping/crating. We'll deliver, uncrated, to a local shipper for $150 extra. We'll deliver within 100 miles of Chicago for $1.50 per mile round trip ($20 minimum). $500 deposit via PayPal due within 24 hours of auction close. Remainder via one of the standard payment methods within seven days. No PayPal for remainder unless you contact us first. The bike is to be picked up within three weeks of auction close. $25 per week storage fee after that. We are a dealer, so we must charge sales tax and process the title and plate if you are an Illinois buyer. If you are a buyer from one of the states that reciprocates with Illinois on sales tax, we must collect sales tax based on the vehicle rate for your state. As a dealer, we also have a $100 documentation fee. We can offer financing with competitive rates on your purchase. Please contact us prior to bidding so we can get you approved and figure the terms of the loan.
