Up for sale is my 1988 535i Sedan with Automatic Triptronic Transmission and 154,700 miles on it. It runs great, engine and transmission are very strong. Garage kept 90% of its life. No cracks on the dash like most e28s. Seats are in very good condition, even the driver's seat. Headliner is very good. Recent (within past 3 months) maintenance includes: - New OEM BMW radiator - New OEM BMW water pump and water valve - New OEM BMW fan coupling - New OEM BMW thermostat - New BMW coolant flushed and replaced - All new cooling system hoses and clamps - New OEM left and right motor mounts - New Exide Battery - New Oil and Filter Change - New OEM tie rods, left and center with rubber mounts and cover - 4 wheel alignment - New OEM transmission fluid cooling lines and transmission flush - New flywheel reference pin - New crank position sensor - New speed sensor - 4 Brand New ASA AR1 wheels - 4 Brand New Toyo Proxes T1R tires My costs for this work is well over $5,000. Decided to sell and will purchase a smaller vehicle and we also have a truck. We do not need 3 vehicles. Our loss is your gain. The only things this car needs to put it in near "car show" condition: - repair a small ding on the front driver side fender (see picture), and - a quality paint job. More pics available upon request.
