Vehicle Detail
I bought tis bike to use it as a driver. But it is way too nice for that. Look at the pix. What you are looking at is 100% original. Every part on this bike is original, excepting only the tires, petcock and dealer add-ons (crash bar, sissy bar, etc.). By original, let me be specific: The entire bike is as it was assembled at the factory in Japan. Even the seat and the fork rubbers--all original. The paint is of course all original--and almost perfect. No dents. No cracks. The paint does have some imperfections. But you will look long and hard to find them. The chrome has light pitting in many places. But it too is pretty sharp. Even the frame paint is a lot nicer than it has any right to be after 42 years. The aluminum engine cases are clean--they don't have any of the "old age aluminum" look that you often see on old bikes. After looking closely at this bike and looking at the history of the CB750, I think it would make a great collector bike. It just seems like much more than a driver. I invite you to come to Pittsburgh and look it over to see if you agree. I have done nothing to it except dust it off. I didn't wax the paint or polish the chrome or do anything to make it look better for these pictures. I fugure somone that knows how to take better care of it tan I do should do that stuff. The motor spins but I have not tried to fire it up. It had no petcock when I got it. I bought a genuine original onda petcock for it, but have not installed it. That comes with the bike--along with the tool kit and a Honda service manual that looks like it is from 1970. The 3 original keys are also incuded. If you are a collector, you will like this bike. No reserve. No offers or pre-sales or other foolishness. If you like the bike, pelase bid. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
