1976 CB750A Hondamatic About 2 years ago I purchased this bike with hopes of tearing it down and bobbin' it out. Unfortunately, it has just sat in my garage. Two weeks ago, I lost my job. As a result, Up for sale is a currently non-running 76 Honda CB750 Hondamatic. I had the top end refreshed by a MIT trained motorcycle technician. The cylinder walls re-honed. Everything within OEM Specs or was replaced. Gaskets replaced. Carburetors rebuilt. Fuel Tank flushed and coated. Efforts stopped when noticed manifold gaskets (connect carbs to cylinders) were very hard and cracked. Tried to find replacements and no luck. Eventually ran out of patience and cash. Technician bailed on his family and all current jobs so I was lucky to get bike back. Looks like I have everything (although I can guarantee missing a bolt or screw here and there, due to circumstances). As already mentioned, motor was refreshed and spins freely. Battery charges, but doesn't hold a charge. Tires hold air, but bike has been motionless for many years so probably should be replaced. Seat in very good condition, although start of tear at base of seat at bend. Ignition switch portion of housing is absent (techy told me it basically disintegrated when he disassembled housing). Tank in descent shape, although does have small ding in side. No side covers. Comes with fairing (cracked lense on left side) and luggage rack.
