A true numbers matching 1971 Plymouth Road runner. This is an almost completely numbers matching Plymouth. The fender tag matches the Vin plate on the dash which also matches the numbers on the engine and the radiator support. It however has had the transmission replaced and is not original to the vehicle, also the drivers door has been replaced at some point and has a Data sticker from another Road runner. Other than that, the only other two pieces which are not original to the car are the satellite hood (Previous owner had dreams of an Air Grabber) and the incorrect bucket seats. This Road runner started life from the St. Louis, Mo. plant with an Hp 383/727 combo and a sure grip rear differential (not sure of the ratio). The factory original exterior paint was GY8 (gold) with a gold bench seat interior. What really makes this car great is the fact that the floor pans, frame rails, and even the trunk floor are super solid, however there is rust in both lower quarters and a bubble on the front drivers side fender. I will assist in loading the vehicle, and that's about it. The Road runner does not currently run.
