I am the second owner of this rare 1 of 1127 produced 69 Mustang GT Convertible. The car has always been stored inside and I purchased the car from the original owner this past spring and he gave me a state odometer and damage disclosure documenting the 69,000 miles were actual on the car and that the car had never been wrecked or damaged before I purchased it from him. I have a Marti Report for the car and I will email it to whomever request it and I will list the factory options off the Marti Report at bottom of the description. The car had the original paint on it when I bought it but the body was super solid with no rust through or rot. I had the car painted back the original color of Alcapulco Blue in October of this year and the front fenders, hood, trunk lid, doors, etc were removed for the body work and paint. I have the correct white GT stripes for the bottom sides of the car and I have not had time to put them on. The interior is in good original condition and dash pad and guages are in excellent condition. I had the seats recovered with the correct White Deluxe (Parchment) seat covers and we reused the original Deluxe seat buttons. The bumpers are new as well as the marker light bezels, emblems, letters, and the quarter vent chrome. All the other chrome was polished and I have the original bumpers and all other pieces that were removed from the car during the restoration process and they are included as well. The White power top with backlite glass works like it should and top is original and in good shape but would need replaced to be show quality. I did have all the rubbers and seals replaced for the top and I had all the door, trunk, windshield post seals replaced. All the glass is good in the car but the windshield does have 2 small chips in it. The car retains it's original drive train and the 351 M code 4 barrel engine runs strong and the power steering and power disc brakes work well. The original owner put a shift kit in the FMX automatic transmission so it shits firm and shifts at a higher RPM than stock but it can be put back to stock specs if desired by new owner. The factory 9 inch rear is a posi unit with the original 3:25 gears and it is quiet and performs like it should. I have the original Autolite 4300 carb with data tag and it has been rebuilt and is ready to be reinstalled. The new parts I have installed in the last 30 days are Holley 600 CFM carb, 4 Cooper Cobra 235/60/14 radials mounted on original GT wheels, complete dual exhaust with rolled GT tips, radiator, radiator cap, water pump, thermostat, battery, 4 halogen headlights, all turn signal and brake light bulbs. The door tag, buck tag, and vin tag in windshield are all in their original place and match the title and Marti Report and the Marti Report information is as follows: (White Power Top w/Glass Backlite, GT Equipment Group, FMX Cruise-O-Matic Transmission, F70X14 Wide Oval Belted Tires, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Interior Decor Group-Deluxe) Please ask any questions you might have and thank you for viewing my auction.
