1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible What a great example of a true classic. This Karmann Ghia is sure to ignite those old memories! "The good old days" This gem is as dependable as they come. The 1971 was the year know for its reliability and perseverance. This Ghia keeps on going! Exterior The exterior of the vehicle is nice and straight and shows no signs of physical damage. The red paint is fading but still carries a unique presence. Almost like a patina finish in some areas. The fixtures are mostly in-tacked some are missing. Small chrome strips and such. Please see photos of the vehicle and ask questions about any concerns. Majority of the fixtures are in good shape, headlights, windshield strip, bumper, door handles and so on. The top is newer and black in color with no damage and is snug. The boot cove is included. Interior The interior of the vehicle is in good shape. The seats look to have been recently replaced. The door panels are in fair shape. The dash does have a crack in it. The carpet is older and a little warn. Over all for the age of the vehicle the interior offers potential. Mechanical This Ghia starts right up and runs like a smooth sewing machine. The tires were recently replaced within the last year. Brakes are good. As all Vw's this one to has a common oil leak. Miles are incorrect and this odometer does not work. For a all round way to describe this Ghia you could get in it an drive it home with no issue.
