Rare Restored to original condition Numbers matching S code NOT A CLONE , NOT A TRIBUTE, NOT A REPLICA, 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA Big block 390 335hp Automatic, Power steering, power front disc brakes, working factory AC. First year for in dash AC in Fairlane. The Engine was totally rebuilt as was the C-6 transmission, power steering valve, power ram, power brake booster. parking brake works good (all with in 5000 mi.). Vent and side windows work as they should. Lights, turn signals and brake lights work as well Door locks, trunk and glove box locks work good, orig keys and locks. Two speed wipers work great, heater, defroster and three speed blower as they should. Air conditioning works and blows cold, still R-9. Air conditioning vents and lower fresh air vents work great. Fuel, oil pressure, amp.,temp., speedometer and odometer, horn work great. Radio and clock have minds of there own, works when they want too. All stock except I added Granada front disc brakes (was power drum from factory, still have orig drums and spindles for returning to orig ), Ford electronic ignition, (can be serviced at any Ford dealer), and I added 7" wide wheels all 5 from 69 Mach 1 big block (expensive and hard to find). Door panels are original and look nice, seats are correct reproduction, headliner was also replaced. Dash cluster was restored including all plastic rechromed and detailed face plate professionally polished. All stainless trim was professionally polished, all anodized aluminum was professionally restored polished and re-anodized and detailed, the bumpers are orig and are nice. Orig wheel covers, centers re-chromed and wheel covers professionally polished. 5 Tires are new P215/R75/14. New professionally installed 2-1/2 exhaust with Flowmaster 50 type mufflers and Stainless Steel Tips. The painting was done by painter who has had cars in Mustang Monthly and Mustang Times..(paint is 1-1/2 years old) Emblems, mirrors and everything possible was NOS or OEM, minimum reproduction items as possible. I can't think of any reproduction parts except headliner and possible seat fabric. 66 Silver GTA's are very rare I bought one new in 66 sold it in 74 and when I found this one approx 5 yrs ago, I bought it.
