Vehicle Detail

Up For Sale is my 1940 Packard model 110. I purchase this car from an estate and is a very solid unrestored car. The car was last registered and driven in 2011. The gentleman who owned it passed away and his two sons had no interest in it. I have not tried to start it but a fairly recent tune up appears to have been done. It comes with a brand new fuel pump that needs to be installed so I don't know if that was an issue. Also comes with brand new rear shocks that need to be installed with other miscellaneous parts. The two piece windshield has very bad fogging a third the way down on both sections. Both small vent windows have cracks also. All is flat glass. Stainless/chrome trim around the car is not in great shape (see pics) Headliner material is missing but the headliner insulation and support ribs are all there. The upholstery is in very useable condition. Tires, wide white walls and are in fairly new shape. The bottom of the doors have very little rust/rot. There is a very small line of rot through on lip of trunk outer base. (see pic) Brake pedal goes to the floor. Sure it needs bleeding from sitting. I do not know the condition of the battery, but a safe bet, consider a new one. All lights work except front fog lights on bumper. New switches and wire to finish the task. The odometer displays 78000 miles and appears to be 100% complete minus the headliner. The gas smells fresh in the tank and I found fuel additive/stabilizer in trunk. Replacing the windshield and very little tinkering I'm sure this car could be up and running again in no time. I have all proper transferable paperwork. It is a very unique and beautiful car that is not "The Run of the Mill" of collector automobiles. I have put a very low reserve on this automobile. This car lists for $25,000.00 in number 1 condition. If you have additional questions or concerns, feel free to email me bobuscgr@aol.com or call me @(845)389-5957. I have 100% rating with eBay and I really would like to keep it that way. Thank you for looking.
