For sale is a 2004 Chevy Duramax LB7 with Edge Attitude programmer and an Allison automatic transmission with 193,656 miles . The milage will be a little more till the auction ends as I use this truck (not every day but) a little each week.The truck is in overall good condition with a few dents and scratches in the paint, normal for the age and mileage. This truck was originally a Texas truck so there is very little rust. The truck was just inspected this month. To pass inspection 6 new tires, 4 new brake rotors, and new rear brake pads were installed. The interior is in good condition, there is a few small stains in carpet that I am sure could be removed if you wanted. The truck has an aftermarket instrument cluster that is white faced and a blue-green color when lit. The interior is tan with cloth seats and carpet floor. There is a couple things with the truck that need to be mentioned. The truck was pushing out antifreeze, so I took it to a repair shop and they told me that it needs the head gasket replaced. I understand that this is a somewhat common problem with this specific Duramax LB7 engine. If you are interested in buying this truck and are thinking of driving it home I would recomend checking with your repair shop and getting there opinion. I don't think driving it a short distance would urt as long as you keep the antifreeze level good and keep the engine from overheating, but better to check with a shop and get their opinion. I am selling this truck because I had a lawn care business and usd the truck for that. I am no longer doing lawn care and just don't need this much of a truck. I have had a lot of low ball offers even tho it is listed as an auction. Blue Book value of this truck in good running condition is between 13 & 14k. I realize that it will take a few thousand to get it fixed but then you know you have a truck that is good to go for along time. You could spend 12 or 13k for one that is running today and 3 months later you have the same problem that this truck has. I think that this should be taken into consideration when calculating costs, because unless you buy one that was already repaired, and then unless there are records to prove it, you really are gonna be farther ahead this way.
