This is how GM should have brought the Monte SS out. The car is in great shape. I take it to car shows a cruises all the time. It has not seen rain or snow since 1996 when the car was restored. Im wanting to sell it because I want a Chevelle SS. MOTOR- The engine is out of a 1972 Chevelle SS. It was rebuilt late last year and has about 600 miles on it. it was bored ot to a 468cid, around 450h.p. and 500lbs of torque. Its got a big cam, Edlebrock intake, Holley 850 Double pumper carb, MSD distributer, Hooker Pro Comp Headers and oval port heads. The bottom end is all GM performance parts. Also comes with a brand new 850 cfm Demon carb and 10 mm Pro Comp wires. Transmission- 200R4 that was rebuilt. The tranny has a B&M shift kit and ratchet shifter, 2400 stahl converter and I was told it can handle 800h.p. (?) Rear End- 8 1/2 10 bolt out of a Grand National with posi and 342 gears and traction bars Interior- stock interior changed to black Body- Rust free body but does have chips in the paint. The hood is a GM Goodmark 2'' steel cowl induction. Rims- Torque thrust 2's The car is very fast and fun to drive. I always get the thumbs up when I drive it. The frame still has the undercoating on it. I have a lot of money in this car and hate the fact to even sell it but its time that I find a chevelle.
