Vehicle Detail
I have a nice 1968 Dodge Dart GT Convertible A little about its history It came out of the west Coast (mid State Washington) After a extensive search for a solid complete car I ran across this GT Convertible Dart I purchased it about 1 1/2 years ago from a police officer who had it for about 8 years At the time I was looking for a car I could drive and enjoy and restore when I was ready to dive into another project As seen buy the photos it is a great car to drive or start a restore project on It looks like The Dart was restored before about 15 or so years ago I have put about 4000 miles on it since I have owned it The 318 has a nice cam with a great sound and nice power Carter 4 barrel Headers with dual exhaust 727 transmission 8 3/4 posi rear end Front Disc brakes It has a great set of wheels and tires The Buckets and rear seats were redone in Velour and are in good shape The door panels are in good shape Arm rest are original a bit torn on the front door and the rear are missing carpet looks good with no rips Dash looks fine- Gauges work- Speedo jumps around a bit when driving head lights and running lights work The Convertible top works great and is in descent shape- it has a few small holes- It has a older economy paint job The body is in good shape overall but had economy body work done prior to paint The under carriage is solid with no under coating spray The body overall looks solid but will need some work if planning to restore to A1 condition The panels behind the rear wheels where repaired but look wavy Over top both rear wheels there are small rust holes under the black Strip The black stripe runs along the side of the car is vinyl- I have the original aluminum insert that came with the car when I got it Overall the car is a complete- cool 45 year old car- I have done some basic maintenance to the car ( changed fluids etc) I drove it to a The Southern Mopar Classic show last week( about 250 miles round trip) and have done many 200+ mile trips with no with problems The engine bay tag has the following- first line 64 7 1 1 1 05 2 P6X PP1 B Here is what I know that will need attention- The rear Driver side window does not go down easily - The cardboard glove box insert is gone- so is some of the plastic dash trim pieces - driver sun visor gone The windshield has about 3 or so chips with the spider webs around them about 2 inches overall No Paypal- give me a call to set up payment and pick up 678-468-0029 email with questions Greg@legacycomputer.net
