Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1985 Nissan 300zx. Runs good and is a dependable car. I drive this car daily and make regular long distance highway trips. Pros: New Catalytic converter and Pacesetter Monza cat back exhaust professionally installed. A/C professionally converted to 134a. Blows cold. New Cipher Seats and correct brackets (ordered awaiting delivery and install, included with successful bid). Tires in excellent condition, Newer Shock absorbers. Professionally Tinted Windows. Oil changed regularly with full synthetic, transmission flushed and refilled. Runs Strong very dependable. Cons: Small oil leak ( oil changed routinely with synthetic, small leak, never has needed additional oil between changes) although it is anoying to see the drops in the garage! Does not affect performance. Driver's side window does not go down, Small rust spots on exterior pillars. A/C cuts to defrost vents on hard acceleration (I understand this is typical, I just never get used to it.) Carpets need either a good cleaning or replacement (about $250.) The car runs very strong for a nearly 27 year old car. Very dependable. Was my project, however, I just dont have the time to do it justice. My loss is your gain. This car is being sold without warranty. Remember, you are bidding on an older car, it is in really good shape for a car of it's age, but it is not new. The car is being sold locally. Seller reserves the right to end the auction should the car be sold locally. On Oct-20-12 at 17:35:05 PDT, seller added the following information: The digital speedometer is not operational. Tach, fuel, temp and oil pressure are all working correctly. UPDATE 10/26/12: I have been driving this car daily. Last night on the way home the windshield was cracked by a rock. I have researched the cost to repair. $130 do it yourself or $230 to have it installed. I AM REDUCING THE BUY IT NOW BY $200 to compensate for this. At $1400.00 I am taking a huge loss on this car. The seats that are on order (not arrived yet) were $329 + $199 for the brackets to install it correctly. The exhaust was roughly $700 installed. As I said, I have been driving it daily 200+ miles per day. It is very reliable. This is a great deal for the money and will make someone a good car! I am selling the car without warranty as is.
