Black 1997 Ford F-150 XLT Super Cab truck w/ cap. V8, 4.6 engine. It is equipped with 4WD, but I'm not strong enough to shift it, so I'm unsure if it currently works. 151,356 miles Exterior: some rust along the bottom edges here and there, but the truck was very recently washed, hand waxed, and professionally buffed...looks great, SUPER shiny! There is a long scratch on the driver's door from someone keying the truck awhile back, and I recently used some touch-up paint on it to prevent it from rusting. The truck is equipped with running boards, but the driver's side running board needs some work to reattach it....it's on the truck and doesn't hang down, just can't step on it right now. Interior: in great condition...the carpets could use a little cleaning, but the rest was just detailed/vacuumed at a shop about a week ago. We've been told by many that the truck is in great cosmetic condition "for it's age". There is a small hole in the floor (can barely fit my thumb through it) under the mat on the driver's where the heat shield fell off just before we got the catalytic converter replaced on that side. Of course, you can't see it when the mat is on the floor, but wanted the buyer to be aware that it's there.Under the hood, etc:BOTH catalytic converters and ALL FOUR oxygen sensors are BRAND NEW.Two coils were recently replaced.Blower motor's resistor was just replaced.Starter was replaced earlier this year.Passenger side valve cover gasket was replaced very recently...about a month ago.Alternator was replaced last year.Exhaust is loud at the moment...couldn't afford to stick any more money into it though. The muffler either needs to be patched or replaced (whatever you prefer)...it's not rusty, just has a hole. It also needs the exhaust manifold replaced...I have it on hand if you want it for an extra $70 (AutoZone has it for $120). Possibly needs new plugs/wires...? Unfortunately, other repairs came up on our other vehicles, so we could no longer stick any more money into this one. It's been a very good truck, used to belong to my dear father (died 11 years ago), and we hate to have to part with it. We're hoping to find someone who knows how to fix it up, will take good care of it, and put it to good use for many years to come.
