Up for auction is this 1973 BMW 2002. Bare metal body and paint restoration using all Diamont products.The color is anthracite gray base and clear. The interior is new recaros from arrdvark racing with matching rear seat. Carpet is new black loop,headliner is new as well. Dash is freshly dyed but has a small crack in it. ALL the weather strips are new,All the exterior britework is new as well including new factory mirrors. All new emblems,lic plate lights,door brakes,window sweeps. If you were to add up the cost of all the new parts on this car it would excede the buy it now price by quite a bit and that dosent even include the cost of the car or the bodywork and paint! The engine is a fresh 1974 tii that runs very well.Fuel tank was cleaned and powder coated. clutch and pressure plate is new as is the exhaust system. New battery,New master cylinder. This car also has the ultra rare factory blue tint windows. The wheels are some 320i 14"bbs units that are in nice shape. Car needs a few finishing touches like the rear bumper needs to be installed along with door panels(restored and ready to be put in) I just dont have the time to finish it up(5 kids take alot of time) and I need a new work truck so this needs to go. I am not trying to sell this car as a 100 point show car or as a real tii because its not.The only rust that was on the tub was in the spare tire well. That was sand blasted and repaired with por-15.
