We are pleased to offer for sale this nice 1971 Plymouth GTX 440 CID 4 Barrel (385 horsepower) car for sale. It does have the numbers matching power-train in the car. Mileage is a bit over 71,000. Here is a list of the factory options on the car: We had previously stated that the GTX had a Dana Rear Axle. It was equipped that way from the factory according to the RPO Codes located on the inner fender well. Apparently we were in error, the rear end is not a Dana 4:10 but it was swapped out for an 8 3/4" 3:55 rear axle ratio rear end. We base that on information provided by further research into the situation We sincerely apologize for the misinformation. The GTX 440 has the original motor, automatic transmission and rear axle in the car. The paint is correct color for the car. I am sure based on looking at the car that there has been paintwork done to the car. The car runs extremely well. The tires are like new, the exhaust is the same way. Interior is nice enough with the usual wear and aging. The arm rest on the drivers' side door is cracked from wear. Glass and chrome are also good. Over all a very nice, solid GTX 440 with all the right factory equipment. A couple of minor cosmetic things on the car that are no big deal. The cap on the end of the turn signal stalk is missing, the armrest on the drivers doors as I stated before. If you have any questions about the GTX please feel free to contact me.
